Last updated: [INSERT DATE]
At SchoolUniform2Order, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you purchase goods from us online as a consumer, you may have the legal right to cancel your order in accordance with UK consumer law.
This policy explains your cancellation and returns rights and does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right
If you are a consumer purchasing goods from SchoolUniform2Order online, you generally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
You may cancel your order within 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.

To exercise your cancellation right, you can submit a return request through your Shopify customer account.
Alternatively, you can contact us directly using the details at the end of this policy.

3. Returning the Goods
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your order, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
Goods should be returned securely packaged and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
You may inspect the goods as you reasonably would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
If the goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary for this purpose, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in value, where permitted by law.
4. Return Postage
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to your statutory rights, you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping your proof of postage.
SchoolUniform2Order cannot accept responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged while being returned to us where you have arranged the return yourself.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us before returning them so that we can advise you on the appropriate arrangements.
5. Refunds
Once you have cancelled your order, we will process your refund without undue delay.
Where applicable, we may wait until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided reasonable evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise with you.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the cost of the standard delivery option you originally paid for.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are only required to refund the equivalent standard delivery cost.
6. Condition of Returned Goods
You are entitled to handle and inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
However, if goods have been used or handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop, we may reduce the refund to reflect any resulting reduction in value, where permitted by law.
Any deduction will be explained to you and will not affect your statutory rights.
7. Personalised and Custom-Made Goods
SchoolUniform2Order provides custom embroidery, transfer printing and personalised products.
Where goods have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory 14-day cancellation right may not apply.
This may include, for example:

-

-

Where an item is personalised or made to your specifications, this will be made clear before you place your order where required by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights where personalised or custom-made goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
If you receive goods that are:
-
Faulty;
-
Damaged;
-
Incorrect;
-
Not as described; or
-
Otherwise do not conform to your legal rights,
please contact us as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under applicable consumer law.
Please contact us before returning faulty, damaged or incorrect goods wherever possible so that we can advise you on the appropriate procedure.
9. Sale and Promotional Items
Sale, discounted and promotional items are also covered by your statutory consumer rights.
A reduction in price does not remove or limit your legal rights.
10. Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges through our Shopify returns process.
If you would like a different size, colour or product, you may return the original item where you have a legal right to do so and place a new order separately.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
11. Items Excluded From the Cancellation Right
Certain goods may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right where permitted by law.
These can include:
-
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
-
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.
-
Goods that, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items.

Nothing in this policy limits, excludes or affects your statutory consumer rights.
In particular, nothing in this policy affects rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or other applicable UK consumer legislation.
Where there is any conflict between this policy and your statutory rights, your statutory rights will prevail.
